Since my Drukhari have gone from a simple side-project to a full-on collection, I thought I might treat myself to a proper centerpiece model for the army. The Tantalus was fairly challenging to assemble, though most of the bending could be done with hot water rather than a heat gun. In the end, both the attachments at the fore and at the pulpit in the back needed both heavy gap filling and also some liberal carving with the scalpel blade. A new technique and tool I used for this one was a drybrush/wet blend with some eco tools makeup brushes. I was able to complete the fades in the hull with great speed, precision, and smoothness without the air brush. I'm also glad I got the big Macromat to photograph my big models. Great product. I also made some markers for use with the "Send Them a Message" agenda. Basically, the Agenda has you "decorate" the objectives with disturbing imagery designed to perturb your opponent.
